Happy Canada Day!!!/ I Think I'm Going to Write A Book....

Heya Friends!

Today is a very special day.
Today my "other" favorite country is celebrating their independence.
Canada!
I love Canada so much that I'll probably, in the future, become a citizen.
I love the scenery, the people, and all that jazz-but most of all..
I LOVE THE MUSIC!
My favorite band ever, Tegan and Sara, reside there
and my other lovely bands:
The New Pornographers, The Shins, etc.

On the flip side-

Today was an "up" day. I had been waiting for a week on the call for employment from my favorite bookstore
Books-A-Million
and they called! Yes!
So that made my day so much better.
I really need the money and more so I really need to be doing something.
I get bored easily and have been filling my days with numerous (and one too many) library books
and countless strums of my guitar.
Don't get me wrong, I love it when my artistic side is raring and kicking
but usually if I have no structured action required a.k.a a job,
I'm up until 6 AM or later doing all sorts of beneficial multi-tasking activities and
5 straight hours of Madden to let my brain relax or rather just to kill my thumbs and time.
So you see it's actually unhealthy and backwards
and soon (almost too soon)
I'll be off to college and will actually have to count on myself more and grow up
The latter I'm fine with but counting on myself more is a problem since I'm a spoiled only child
but whatever I'll get through it.
Anyway the whole point in blogging today was to announce that I'm going to write a book.
I've already started somewhat and today I should have recorded what I was saying out loud because it was great material.
I mean Colbert and Stewart's writers couldn't have done any better if they tried.
So, I was thinking I'd do it audio book style and then write what I recorded down, word for word.
I can already picture it

Oprah's Bookclub
RollingStone's Bookclub
Hell...everybody's bookclub is welcome.
Especially yours, my friends

I have a new "trademark" saying
Whatever you're going through
Remember
it could always be worse
and whomever or whatever it is you think you are
there is always someone better.
